Shoe Dilemma
I have been looking for the right shoes for my wedding for ages, and I just can’t seem to pick them out. I’ve thought about going with a punch of color–one of the wedding hues, of course. I’ve also considered going old school with just an ivory shoe to blend in with the dress . . . I’m really not sure what to do!
So really what I’m saying is: I need help.
I’ve picked out seven pairs of shoes that I really like, but now I need some outside perspective to help me make a choice. Perspective is very important when it comes to wedding shoes.
So, please consider the following shoes carefully and respond with your vote. Which pair do you like best and why? 200 words or less. (Unless you want to write more.)

You are going to come up with different opinions. Plus these are all very pretty, so you really can’t go wrong. It would be a tough choice but coming from a bride expert my choice would be the Happy yellow pleats. How can you go wrong with Happy!! But with it being fall, this really is more of a summer color
so that might be an issue. The Ivory pleats are probably my second choice, they are just tooo pretty. But then you lose the punch of color. Chocolate doesn’t seem right to me and neither does red so I think I’m narrowing down the choices. So if I have to choose between the green and mustard. The green look comfortable but that doesn’t matter on the WEDDING day, looks do. Mustard has the wrong connection to weddings, like mustard for corn dogs unless that is what you are serving. If green goes better with your color hues that might work, but I can really see a little bright punch of color with the mustard…so go with that! You should take my advice seriously. :)~

I’d go with the ivory pleats. Understated, but gorgeous shoes. Rounded toe, and heels, but not uncomfortably high. I love the chocolate ones as well, but the last thing I would want to hear on my wedding day would be great shoes. maybe you are different, but I’d think the focus should be on your gorgeous face first, dress second.

If you are going to go with chocolate ties for Chad and the groomsmen then I vote for the chocolate shoes for you….although I am partial to red.

I remember when we were shoe shopping the day we found the bridesmaid dresses, and you kept looking at all these bright red, awesome, unusual shoes. And I have to say, I *love* the idea of wearing something that breaks with tradition! Of all these you’ve shown in the blog, my vote is 100% for the ruby slippers (and you know how much I love green, so this is an unusual vote for me!). Whatever you do, I say stick with your instinct for the colorful and unusual. I think that little flash of quirkiness showing under the dress is a great reflection of your fun and not-always-so-traditional self that we all love

I should clarify… of all the styles, I don’t necessarily like the red ones the best. I think the Ivory Pleats or the Chocolate Diva are the best design-wise. But as far as color, I don’t think either of those is a winner. Go red!! RED! Even a bright burgandy would be awesome and possibly more fall-like.

I think the chocolate diva shoes are hott. But, you do enjoy a nice red shoe, so maybe chocolate diva in red diva?

Can’t see the pictures here at work however I would go with the most comfortable shoes….maybe it’s age talking but you always here the horror stories of wedding shoes.

Red shoes are super cute, but in the movies they spell disaster (except for dorothy, but look what she went through to get them). Love the name of the ivory towers, but I like the chocolate ones. Unless you can get the ruby slippers in ivory, or chocolate? Or what about red shoes for the reception, but chocolate for the ceremony? Is that too many shoes? Can you have too many shoes?

I decided to go with the Ivory Pleats–which I believe also got the most votes. I tried on several different colored shoes, but decided to go low-key. Check them out at the wedding, y’all!

We were recently in a lovely park for a picnic when a bride and groom with their photographer came to do some pictures. She was in her gown, he is his tux. She had a bouquet of orange flowers, but when she lifted her long dress to run across the grass she revealed her beautiful orange pumps–just gorgeous and a fun surprise! I thought they were perfect for a fall wedding!

I personally would go with the chocolate diva. I am getting married in April. My colors are ivory, chocolate and turquoise. My gown is ivory and chocolate, and I want to wear chocolate shoes but am undecided also.
